So as those of you who have been supporting us on Patreon already know, we recently hired what we thought was a great artist on a freelance site to create some great new zombies for the game. But it turned out that they were a great scam artist! Instead of a great zombie model, they sent us a model that looked like the first model ever made. Foolishly we made a deposit on the freelance site which is now in the limbo, because it turns out that even though the freelance site says they'll return your deposit if you're not satisfied, that is also a scam, because to return your deposit you have to hire a 3rd party opinion which will cost you $300 and nothing is guaranteed! Luckily the deposit was small and luckily we have a great and competent team so we made our own zombies which we'd like to show you today!
Remember, before you get scammed by a freelancer or freelance website like us, read the site terms and conditions with a lawyer, choose your freelancers very well and never make deposits for anything until it's done. We definitely won't be making that mistake again.
