Hey team
I thought of some additional questions that might be good to ask or to add to the FAQ. Also none of these are meant to catch you guys out in any way:
1) How long will the game be projected to be in development, as an estimate? (i.e not concrete date)
2) Will the alpha pre release later this year be close in terms of features/content as the mod is currently?
3) Will servers have to restart every so often? Or will it be they continuously run with some maintenance required every so often?
4) How will loot spawn? Will it still be based on proximity triggers like in the mod or more dynamic?
5) Will zombies also spawn based on proximity triggers like the mod or will they continuously spawn throughout the world regardless of where players are?
6) How will survival mechanics be expanded in Pandemik? Will we be able to hunt/forage and cook our own food?
7) Will there be added environmental hazards such as radiation zones? If so, will such zones hide rare loot and require the appropriate clothing/gear to traverse?
8) Will the skill system be revamped in some ways? I enjoyed exploring to find books to read to gain access to next levels but some skills to raise were incredibly grindy.
9) Will server owners have control access to certain variables in the server like the mod did? (Sector B difficulty, Mission A.I difficulty etc)
10) Has there been any discussion or thoughts on how to prevent gamma abuse? I'm aware that this is something that will probably always be a thing but I guess anything to help make night time gameplay more balanced would be appreciated
11) Will the A.I missions still be a thing? I always found they added a lot of additional or end game playability

Re: Some more additional questions
1) It's very hard questions, all depends on current community support (on Patreon or Paypal) and pre-alpha steam sales. I think 1-2 year after pre-alpha release. But what is very important - our game will be fully playable on alpha stage, it won't be raw piece of bugs.Cravez wrote: ↑03 Feb 2018 16:07 1) How long will the game be projected to be in development, as an estimate? 2) We will add some stuff from mod, but not all. And of course we will add a lot of new (health system, zombies, weapons, cloth and so on).
3) Nope. I think 1 time per week will be enough, maybe couple.
4,5) Loot and zombie spawn system will be totally new.
6) Yes and yes.
7) Not in alpha, but we will add something like that later.
8) We want remake skill system from scratch (maybe it will be more RPG like).
9) Yes, we will give much more freedom server admins.
10) We won't add ingame gamma cheat (like in mod), but we can't control hardware abuse (eg change gamma in video driver settings).
11) Missions will be different.
We are very appreciate what you so interested in our game, but we can't surely answer on a lot of questions, because game now in active development stage, and we can change our view on some things. Community also can affect on it, so if you want to see something in Pandemik The Origins - you are welcome!
And the best way to contact us is Discord, it's very comfortable platform.
Re: Some more additional questions
Hi Lucas, thank you very much for taking time to answer the questions, very much looking forward to getting my hands on the game later in the year. Will definitely hop on Discord at some point if it's a better suited platform.
