Home Getting Started Food & Drinks
Over time, your character will deplete their food and water levels. Your character's food and water stats are represented by the following two icons in the status bar, which range from 0 - 100 percent. Each icon only appears when its respective level falls below 95 percent.
Your character's food and water levels need to be replenished when you notice their levels getting too low by eating and drinking foodstuffs. If your character's food or water level gets too low, their blood will begin to decrease, eventually leading to your character's death.
To consume an edible item, right-click on its slot in the inventory and press 'Eat'.
Most edible items will not only replenish your character's food level but will also slightly replenish their blood and water levels.
Hover your mouse cursor over each consumable item in the inventory to view all its properties in detail.
To consume a drink, right-click on its slot in the inventory and press 'Drink'.
You can also take a drink directly at a water pump by placing your crosshairs over it and selecting 'Drink' from the action menu.
A water pump can also be used to fill an empty water bottle:
To fill an empty water bottle, place your crosshairs over the water pump and select 'Fill Water Bottle' from the action menu provided you have an empty water bottle in your main inventory.
Not all foodstuffs are made equal; some take more time to consume than others. A green arrow will be displayed next to the food/water/blood icons while the item is being consumed, indicating that their levels are being replenished.
Hover your mouse cursor over each consumable item in the inventory to find its consumption time.
Your character may get food poisoning by consuming certain foodstuffs and drinks.
You can find the probability of getting food poisoning in the description of the consumable loot item (if the item in question has a probability).
